Bath and shower rooms appear to be a favourite when embracing the nautical look, no matter the location of the property.

The ‘theme’ can be fully embraced or subtle nods towards the seaside. The style works well both in a traditional setting as well as contemporary homes and hotels.

start a collection of found items, such as shells (no coral or starfish, lets protect the seaside!)

When you think of nautical you do tend to think of lighter, white rooms with hints of pale blues, navy and reds, however the nautical look works so well in darker shades too, here are two examples.
